Argyle, from Portland, is an instrumental Jazz-Funk quartet with a soulful style. Their adventurous performances stem from roots in Soul Jazz, Hip-Hop, prog, Afrobeat, psychedelic rock and old school Funk. They’ve surely wrought some dopeness on their 2017 debut, Team Building Exercise! “Ooh Mami” is a funky jam with heaps of greasy organ, a blistering back beat, and finger-lickin’ funky guitar goodness. I can’t wait to hear more from these cats in years to come!
